The COVID pandemic has been challenging for all of us. Yet, as a registered nurse, I was able to care for my patients during this time. Every time I left home for work, I thought that I, along with other healthcare workers, was so fortunate to have a stable job. I felt fortunate that I was needed by my community. I was grateful that I was also given the opportunity to enrol in a master’s program, which I have successfully finished. Still, I hope the pandemic will end soon and that most people will get vaccinated so we can resume our normal lives.
